Fire Rated Door Grilles

Fire rated door grilles can be fitted to our fire doors. Grills are manufactured by Lorient or Kilargo, and comply with the requirements of AS1905.1-2015, and are tested in accordance with AS1530.4.

The fire rated door grilles are 35mm thick, enabling them to be fitted in both our “Mini” and “Maxi” fire doors.

Maximum fire rating for these units 120 minutes.

Sizes available are:

• 600 x 300
• 450 x 450

The grilles come with 2 decorative cover plates that are surface fixed to both sides of the fire door.

Grilles are fitted in the doors, and sealed in place with fire rated mastic sealant

Standard Grille covers from either Lorient or Kilargo are powder coated, and may not be suitable for severe climatic conditions. It may be necessary to use Aluminium covers in these situations.

If necessary, Melbourne Fire Doors can also supply fire rated wall grilles as well.

Non Rated Door Grilles

Non rated door relief grilles are available in stock sizes. Made from aluminium extrusion with fixed full chevron blades.
Finish natural anodised. Powder coating available upon request.

The non rated door grills suit 30mm to 50mm thick door.
