Fire Door Frames – Timber
MFD stock standard sized timber door frames, for both fire rated and non rated doors.
Custom sized frames can be manufactured as required.
Fire Rated Timber Frames.
These frames can be manufactured from MDF, laminated KD hardwood or select grade KD hardwood. Frames are made to suit both the Maxi and Mini fire doors.
| Standard MDF frame size is | 140 x 32 with 40 x 32 loose stops |
| Standard KD frame size is | 140 x 30 with 40 x 30 loose stops. |
| Stock sizes are | 2055 x 824/874/924/1024 2355 x 824/874/924/1024 |
All fire rated timber frames are supplied unassembled, with head trenched one side only, and are fitted with 20 x 4 intumescent seals, recessed into the head and both jambs.
Trenching both sides, and assembly of frames can be done if necessary.

Standard size for these frames is 112 x 19 with 30 x 10 loose stops.
